Anne Of Green Gables

A popular classic story presented beautifully for children and inspiration for the hit TV show. Her name isn’t Cordelia, her hair isn’t black, and she has no parents. These are the tragical facts of Anne Shirley’s life until she comes to Green Gables and faces another: she’s a girl.Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert wanted a boy to help with the farm work but of all the things Anne can imagine, leaving Green Gables isn’t one of them. She’ll do anything to stay – talk less, pay more attention, control her temper. At least she’ll try to.

Anne Of Avonlea

It’s been five years since Anne came to Green Gables and she’s quite grown-uppish now. True she’s more interested in writing about love than falling in it, and her nose still has seven freckles. But as the new teacher at her old school, she’s left her days of breaking slates and walking ridgepoles behind. She’s determined not to get into any more trouble. Then again, one can’t get over the habit of being a little girl all at once …

Anne Of The Island

How horrible it is that people have to grow up and marry and change! The only change Anne is ready for is leaving Green Gables for Redmond College. As for marriage, she’s waiting for the Prince Charming she imagined as a girl: someone tall and handsome, with sad eyes and a sensitive voice. So when a dashing stranger appears, Anne’s dreams seem to have come true. But with everything changing around her, will Anne’s heart stay the same?

Anne Of Windy Poplars

Anne Shirley, B.A., arrives in her new home of Summerside scandalously in love. With two years to wait until she can be married, she has come to be principal of the local high school. Unfortunately the town’s most powerful family have already taken a disliking to her and Anne’s charm appears to have met its match. She finds comfort in the letters she writes from her tower room, until at last she stumbles upon a secret and the winds begin to change.

Anne Of Ingleside

It’s been seven years since she married the love of her life and Anne of Green Gables is now Anne of Ingleside. As the mother of five, soon to be six, Anne’s life is never dull. Her children are every bit as dreamy and headstrong as she was and her own attempts at throwing a party and playing cupid prove that even she still has much to learn. When a past rival appears, Anne learns she’s not above old jealousy either.
