Sophie's Snail

Small, but very determined, Sophie loves animals and is going to be a farmer when she grows up. Sophie's fond of most creatures - especially little ones like snails - but there's one she cannot stand: her prissy new neighbour Dawn!

Sophie's Tom

A bumper edition of the first three bestselling Sophie titles. Sophie is small, but very determined. She loves animals - snails and cats and rabbits and dogs and pigs - and she wants to be a farmer when she grows up. Her best friend is Great-great-aunt Al from Scotland, who looks a bit like a bird, and her worst enemy is the dreadful Dawn. Follow Sophie's adventures in these three lively, fun-filled stories: "Sophie's Snail", "Sophie's Tom" and "Sophie Hits Six". Redesigned and relaunched, these lifelong classics will continue their exceptional sales, having sold over a million copies to date.

Sophie Hits Six

Sophie's cat, Tom has surprised them all by producing four kittens. There are more animals to come in the year that Sophie hits six, finds a new farming ally, and makes a triumphant entrance into the sporting arena. This is a charming story about Sophie and her life on the farm, read by Bernard Cribbins. The Sophie stories, written by Dick King-Smith, are a perennial classic loved by generations of children for over twenty years. Centred on the adventures of a confident, animal-loving little girl, they are perfect for any child who loves to play and explore the world around them.

Sophie in the Saddle

Sophie wants to be a lady farmer when she grows up, and she has a large collection of animals. She already has herds of insects, a rabbit and a cat and now she has a puppy too - Puddles the terrier has joined the family, named and trained by Sophie. In Cornwall for the summer holidays, Sophie feeds a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, stays on a farm, meets some new friends and starts riding lessons. She also learns to swim, encounters an old enemy on the beach and has her first ever horseback ride on Bumblebee, a grey pony: she turns out to be a natural rider. When she learns that riding lessons are very expensive, she is sad to have to stop until next summer

Sophie is Seven

Small, but very determined, Sophie loves animals and is going to be a farmer when she grows up. In this book she visits a farm, makes a big impression at the school concert, celebrates her seventh birthday and starts riding lessons!

Sophie 's Lucky

New-look reissues of the ever-popular series about the animal-loving Sophie. Small, but very determined, Sophie loves animals and is going to be a farmer when she grows up. Sophie would love to have a pony, but she doesn't think she'll ever be that lucky. She does get a lucky break, though, when Great Aunt Al invites her to Scotland!
